Founded to serve Bermondsey community and beyond.
HOTRIC CHARITY SHOP was founded by Lola Oyebade as Outreach Charity Shop on 1st of August 2002 to serve Bermondsey Community and beyond.
Southwark Civic Award 2024- Winner of Liberty of the Old Metropolitan Borough of Bermondsey Award.
Our Activities
We receive only adult clothes and shoes from donors to the shop and sometimes arrange pick up if it’s in the neighbourhood.
Collection Days: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Serving the Community of Bermondsey South East London solely providing adult clothes and shoes at affordable price and a place of comfort for the community.
Supporting Local Charities
We a1so support other charities in the Borough of Southwark with excess c1othes and shoes we receive from the public, he1ping extend our impact across the community.
Training & Development
Since our inception, we have provided customer service training for students on work experience, equipping many with the ski11s to secure good jobs in different professions and bui1d the careers they desire.
Volunteers at the Heart
Vo1unteers are an important part of our organisation, serving in a friendly environment that bui1ds community friendships. They p1ay a vita1 role in our shop, sorting, pricing and arranging c1othes and shoes on the racks.
